Founded in 1930, the Parr Company is the largest supplier of home-building materials and solutions in the Northwest and one of the top 10 suppliers in North America. Unlike small suppliers with a limited range of products, or big-box chains with limited service and knowledge, Parr’s network of 44 locations is the total source of supplies and solutions for professional home builders of large and mid-sized communities, single custom homes, and for the serious DIYers of home improvement projects.
As a result of growing from acquisitions and development of numerous product and service offerings, the PARR portfolio of companies appeared disconnected and unrelated. Originally and primarily known as a supplier of Lumber, they needed to consolidate their many brands to tell the bigger brand story and position as the total source for home building supplies.
Brand Navigation’s solution included a new visual identity and comprehensive brand visual system under the single PARR brand. It also included brand strategy, brand narrative and messaging, brand style guide, print and advertising, and signage and vehicle design.
