Bill Chiaravalle's experience in branding and design spans more than twenty years of involvement and the direct creation of literally hundreds of brand identity programs. His background includes serving at Landor Associates (a world-renowned agency and pioneer in brand strategy and design), both as Design and Creative Director for over a decade. While at Landor, Bill worked on numerous comprehensive branding programs for companies such as American Express, AT&T, Bacardi, Danone, Delta Airlines, FedEx, Gatorade, Hyatt, IBM, Microsoft, NEC, P&G, Smucker's, Sunkist, and Sutter Home.

Bill was born in San Francisco and grew up in Marin County, California. He received his education in design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and mentored under world-renowned designers, Michael Manwaring and Michael Mabry before joining Landor Associates and then founding Brand Navigation in 1999.

As President and Creative Director, Bill is responsible for establishing and managing the overall strategic and creative vision for every project. Working closely with clients and his creative team, he oversees every aspect of the creative development process to ensure consistency and excellence.

Bill has received numerous branding and industry awards from organizations including the San Francisco Art Director's Club, Dupont International Packaging Design Awards, AIGA, Logo Lounge, and Print Magazine. Bill is also co-author of Branding for Dummies and speaks often on brand value and his experience.
