Hospice Center, formerly called Hospice Bend-LaPine, is Central Oregon's only independent, not-for-profit hospice care organization.
Due to the growing financial opportunities in hospice care services, large, national for-profit organizations were coming into the area with the hopes to gain market share. We were asked to help position their brand to compete with institutions having significantly greater marketing budgets.
We first recommended changing their name from Hospice Bend-LaPine, to Hospice Center to convey and position them as the established leading center for hospice care services in the region. We also developed a stylized eternal flame as their primary identity visual, symbolizing leadership, hope and remembrance. Brand services also included a brand awareness advertising campaign, website design, and collateral materials.
